The mine is starting to work. :)

Hello everyone!
It is my first entry, so I feel bound to explain to you why I decided to create this blog. So at the beginning of January this year my best friend Wanda told me about website postcrossing.com which enables people to send and to receive postcards from all over the world. Now we are both seriously involved in it – we send postcards and check our mailbox like a crazy. It is really awesome to read something about people from different countries and discover new places on Earth. Postcrossing made me also aware that Poland is such an unknown country. Because of the fact that there is so little space provided on the postcard to describe Poland, Poles and our customs I decided to tell you about my country (and maybe someday about another one) on my own blog. Firstly, I want to show you the city where I am currently living – Gdynia. I am going to live here only till the end of May, because in June I am coming back for a while to my hometown. I have to say that I will really miss this city. I have been living here for 3 years now and I got used to walking along the beach, feeding seagulls, observing how ships go into the dock and listening to the sound of waves. I love the Baltic Sea even if the water is always cold. Until I moved to the Gdynia, I had seen the sea only three times, because my hometown is located more than 200km from the shore and my parents and siblings don’t travel a lot so I didn't have many possibilities to enjoy the sea. This is why I fell in love with Gdynia so quickly and so deeply. I know, that on Earth are plenty of nicer places but let me show you “my Gdynia”. Today, I uploaded only one photo that I took in Gdynia - this is a picture of the Boulevard – place where there are always many strollers , but in the next entry I will add more photos and more information. Be patient, please! :)
